Linehaze is operated by PaintedApp, LLC, 1327 SE Tacoma St #394, Portland, OR 97202, which sells and ships every order. Write support@painted.app about anything in these terms.

The worlds were made by us with AI image models, and every character is drawn by an AI image model from your answers and, if you add one, your photograph. We direct and choose the work, but no person draws your character by hand, and two passes of the same answers will not draw the same picture.

Linehaze sells original anime art. The ten worlds are our own work, drawn for this site and licensed from nobody. Characters are drawn by an AI image model, directed by us, from the answers you give in the studio and, if you add one, a photograph you supply. You see the finished picture before you pay for anything printed from it.

Prints, canvases and frames are made to order by our print partners and shipped to the address you give at checkout. Digital purchases deliver a high-resolution file by download link, live for 30 days.

A purchase buys you the physical item, or the file, for personal use: hang it, wear it, gift it, print a digital file for your own walls. It does not transfer copyright in our worlds, and it does not license commercial use — no reselling prints or files, no merchandise of your own, no stock libraries. Want a commercial arrangement? Everything you put into the studio must be yours to use and lawful. We screen every request before it is drawn and refuse anything hateful, sexual, violent or infringing. We may decline to print any render at our discretion, refunding anything paid for it.

Photographs. Only upload a photograph of yourself, or of an adult who has told you it is fine. No photographs of children, and no photographs of people who have not agreed. By uploading one you confirm you have that right. A photograph is used to draw the render you asked for and is not kept afterwards, and it is never used to train a model.

No one else's characters. We do not draw characters from other people's anime, manga, games or films, and we do not draw near-misses of them. Every prompt carries that instruction and the studio refuses requests that ask for one. This is the rule that keeps what you buy legal to print, and it is not negotiable.

No real people you have no right to draw, no brands. Do not ask for a celebrity or public figure, or for a logo, brand or trademark. Nothing depicting a child in any sexual or violent way, ever. You must be 18 or older to use the studio or buy, or do it with a parent or guardian, and a photograph of a child is never allowed.

Free previews carry a Linehaze watermark. Removing it, or using a preview as if it were a purchased file, is not allowed.

The worlds, the hands, the characters we drew for the site and the site itself are ours. For a character the studio draws for you, we keep the right to show it back to you and to print the one you order, and we give you whatever rights we hold in it for the personal use described above. The law on who owns AI-made images is unsettled and differs by country, so we do not promise that anyone holds a copyright in them. Your photograph stays yours.

Prices are shown at checkout and charged by Stripe. Production starts promptly after payment — that is what makes made-to-order art fast, and what makes cancellation a narrow window. Something wrong with an order? The refund policy says exactly what we do about it.

We describe every item accurately and print on archival stock, but screens, paper and fabric differ: small colour variance between the image on your screen and the ink on your wall or your hoodie is the nature of printing, not a defect. A character drawn from a photograph is an illustration and an interpretation, never a copy of the face. Beyond replacing or refunding an order that went wrong, our liability is capped at what you paid for it, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here takes away a right you have under the consumer law where you live.

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and the terms in force when you ordered govern that order.
