What is Linehaze?
An anime character studio and shop: you make a character, from your own photograph or from a list of traits, and it is drawn into one of 10 worlds we made, in one of 16 hands. It is run by PaintedApp, LLC, which sells and ships every order.
Will the character look like me?
If you add a photograph, the drawing keeps your face shape, glasses, freckles and age, and nothing is slimmed or smoothed. It is an illustration, an interpretation of you, never a copy of the photograph.
Can I be drawn as a character from a show?
No. Every world and every character here is our own, and the studio refuses requests for anyone else's characters rather than hoping the model declines.
What can I buy, and what does it cost?
Prices run $30 to $1,199 in US dollars: a 4K digital file is $45, a giclée print starts at $85, gallery canvas at $129, and an all-over-print hoodie at $185. Checkout is not open yet; the studio is, and these are the prices it will charge.
How does the studio work, and is it free?
A pass draws your character four times. Everyone gets 4 free passes, then 10 more cost $10; free previews carry a "Linehaze" watermark and the file or print you buy does not.
What happens to my photograph?
It is sent to OpenAI to draw the render you asked for and is not stored by us afterwards. Only upload a photograph of yourself, or of an adult who has agreed, and never of a child.
What are the prints made on?
The giclée print is pigment ink on 200gsm Enhanced Matte Art paper, printed by Prodigi. The Hahnemühle option is Hahnemühle Photo Rag, a 308gsm 100% cotton paper; canvas is stretched over wooden bars, and apparel, cases, totes and blankets are made by Printful.
Is the art made with AI?
Yes. The worlds were made by us with AI image models, and your character is drawn into them by an AI image model from your answers and, if you add one, your photograph. We say so plainly because you should know what you are buying.
Where do you ship, and what does shipping cost?
Physical items ship to United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, at a flat $12 per order. Everything is made to order after payment and shipped with tracking; no fixed delivery date is promised.
Can I return it?
A misprint, damage in transit or the wrong item is replaced or refunded: write support@painted.app with the order reference and a photo within 30 days of delivery. Because everything is made for you, change-of-mind returns are not offered.
